JSC “Rosmet” was founded in the city of Arkhangelsk in 2006 year. The main line of business of the company is in realization, operation and separation of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal (License #17 of 15.03.2012).
JSC “Rosmet” has its own vehicles fleet and experienced staff to guarantee an ongoing process of loading and unloading works and other operations connected with receiving and execution of cargo. Processing areas of JSC “Rosmet” are located on the territory which borders with “Bakaritsa” port which gives a significant advantage at receiving and forwarding cargo by water transport. Processing areas have a separate automobile entrance and a railway access which allows receiving up to 3 freight cars for discharging at the same time.
Lift trucks of the type “ATLAS”, carrying capacity 7 tons, and “TEREX”, carrying capacity 5 tons perform unloading auto cars of open type and rail cars. The company also owns a hydraulic molding press, model type Y81-250B, for pressing light scrap metal, KAMAZ truck with a hydro manipulator, two KAMAZ towing cars with dump semi trailers of higher loading capacity, KAMAZ truck crane MKT-25-2, carrying capacity 25 tons.
Weighing of scrap metal which is received from automobile transport is performed on weigh scales with the length 18m, and cargo capacity up to 60 tons, which are checked by “Arkhangelsk CSM” yearly. Weighing of scrap metal in rail cars is performed on rail weigh scales in the territory of unloading area “Bakaritsa” of Arkhangelsk sea trade port.
Owing our specialized auto transport and other scrap-processing machines allows JSC”Rosmet” to perform moving scrap out and dismantle objects and metal constructions by its own efforts.
Scrap metal from the Far North areas (Varandey, Amderma, Naryan-Mar) is being successfully moved out in close cooperation with JSC “Belfreight” which has its own vessel fleet. Other strategic partner of our company is LLC “Pomor Shipyard” on the premises of which demolition of decommissioned for scrap vessels and other watercraft is performed.
